Why can Grayson’s accept a reduced invoice amount for crypto?
A large portion of our gutter cleaning customers pay us by immediate credit card payment at the end of the job. This costs us about 1% in merchant EFTPOS terminal fees, for example every $100 received by credit card means we have to pay the bank a $1 fee. The bank also charges a monthly terminal rental fee, once you add it all up this multiplies into a noticeably large fee each year. By paying us directly across the crypto blockchains mentioned above, we are charged zero bank fees.
